The Main Gauche or left hand dagger, developed in Renaissance Europe, was often used with the rapier providing an added dimension in both offense and defense. The "Schools of Fence" which was popular in Renaissance Europe taught the use of the two weapons in combination. This version of the Torino Main Gauche is polished. The grip is wire wrapped and weighs 11oz. with an overall length of 16-5/8".
