Coppergate Helmet-CAS Hanwei

This magnificent helm is replicated from a museum piece that was discovered in the ancient walled city of York in 1982 and was a find of tremendous archeological importance. The inscription on the crest is an invocation for protection from the helmet's owner, Oshere, to the Holy Trinity. The helmet is fashioned in stainless steel with a museum-quality patina which resists rust while still maintaining the integrity of the original metal. The helmet is fully wearable (and sized for modern heads), with comfortably padded interiors. The helmet is supplied with an attractive wooden display stand.
