Flanged Mace

The flanged mace first appeared in the eleventh century, and was used extensively through the thirteenth century to penetrate armor. This flanged mace was capable of smashing even the heaviest plate armor. Our mace is typical of those used throughout Europe. It is equipped with a leather wrist and saddle thong and features a wire-wrapped, spiral-bound grip. A wall display plaque is also available with this mace.
