Burgonet Knight Helmet
The Burgonet was a type of light helmet, worn by infantry and light cavalry in Europe from about 1500 to the end of the 16th century. An open helmet with a pointed visor, called the fall, and a neck guard, the burgonet was fitted with hinged cheek pieces. This flawless replica is modeled after a famous suit of armor in Augsburg; this stricking helmet is decorated with brass strip panels laid over the polished skull. Hinged cheek defenses and fully articulated Bevor (face Guard) allowing adjustments to give improved vision.
