AH2286 -- Daisy Armour

Our Daisy Armor is reproduced from a superb example in the collection of the Kushibiki Hachimangu Shrine in Japan. Dating from the Nanboku-Cho period (1336 ~ 1392) the original suit is a great rarity, as few complete examples from that period have survived. During this period, earlier restrictions on colors allowed on armor were lifted, as evidenced by the use of brilliant reds and purples. The extensive use of gold overlay indicates that the suit belonged to a powerful provincial warlord.

Our version of the armor makes every effort to remain authentic to the original. Supplied in the decorated wooden case that becomes a display stand, the suit will provide an outstanding decorative element in any home or dojo.
