The Tsuba (guard), Fuchi(collar) and Kashira(pommel) are expertly made and finely crafted from black iron. The Habaki (blade collar) is hand made out of polish brass and each hilt is covered in Save (ray skin) and tightly wrapped in the traditional style with black cord. All of the features of this sword are as tradtional as possible. The overall length is 40-3/4", blade length is 29-3/8. The blade is 1050 carbon steel. The scabbard is black lacquered wood sheaths.
