Crusader Shield-Windlass

This curved wooden shield is covered on the front with colored leather and shows the distinctive Jerusalem Cross in contrasting brass and rivets. The Jerusalem cross, also known as Crusaders' cross, is a heraldic cross consisting of a large Greek cross surrounded by four smaller Greek crosses, one in each quadrant. The Jerusalem cross was the emblem of Templar Crusaders. The back of the shield is covered in canvas and has adjustable arm strapping. ($5 addl. s/h)
